O.J. Mayo, of the Memphis Grizzlies, finished off an amazing rookie year with a strong performance in the season’s last month. On the season, Mayo led all rookies in scoring (18.5 ppg) and minutes. (38.1 mpg) He set a franchise record for points in a season (1,516) and became the first rookie since Tim Duncan in 1997-98 to play in all 82 games and average over 38 minutes per game.
