O.J. Mayo, of the Memphis Grizzlies, finished off an amazing rookie year with a strong performance in the season’s last month. On the season, Mayo led all rookies in scoring (18.5 ppg) and minutes. (38.1 mpg) He set a franchise record for points in a season (1,516) and became the first rookie since Tim Duncan in 1997-98 to play in all 82 games and average over 38 minutes per game.

Michael Beasley
Forward, Miami Heat
Miami Heat Forward, Michael Beasley led all rookies in scoring for April with 20.6 ppg. He also chipped in with three consecutive double-doubles including a 28-point, 16-rebound performance vs. New York.
